Common Causes of Painful Intercourse
Painful intercourse is medically referred to as dyspareunia, and occurs when there is pain or discomfort during or after sexual intercourse. You may have experienced painful intercourse before, but some women may experience it nearly every time they are intimate with their partner. You may experience pain that is mild or at times it may feel excruciating. This can make intimacy with your partner difficult – especially if neither of you know the cause of the problem.
